North Vancouver City firefighters responded to a grass fire at the northeast corner of the intersection at Lonsdale and Highway 1 at 1:30 on thursday afternoon. The fire covered an area about 50 ft in diameter and was less than 100 ft from a three story wood frame apartment building.
